WorkMart is a technology platform that connects two kinds of users: Providers (people or businesses who request local services) and Workers (independent professionals who offer and perform those services). WorkMart also provides an escrow facility, through a licensed payment partner, so that a Provider's payment is held securely and released to the Worker when the service is confirmed complete.
WorkMart is a facilitator and marketplace only. WorkMart is not the employer of any Worker, is not a party to the service contract between a Provider and a Worker, and does not itself perform any of the services. Workers are independent service providers, not employees or agents of WorkMart.
You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or create risk for other users.
To confirm a job genuinely happened, WorkMart uses two codes: a start code the Provider shares with the Worker on arrival, and a completion code the Worker shares with the Provider once the work and photo proof are submitted. The Provider must enter the completion code before payment is released. You agree not to share these codes except as intended by the flow, or to use them to misrepresent whether work was done.
You agree not to:
After a job, both parties may leave a review. WorkMart maintains a trust score based on behaviour on the Platform. Reviews must be honest and relevant. We may remove content that is abusive, fake or unlawful.
If a job goes wrong, either party may raise a dispute in the app before payment is released. WorkMart will review the evidence (chat, photos, location, codes) and decide a fair outcome — release to the Worker, refund to the Provider, or a split. WorkMart's dispute decision, made in good faith, is final for the purposes of releasing or refunding the escrowed amount. This does not affect your legal rights.
WorkMart provides safety features including an SOS alert. These are aids, not a substitute for emergency services. In an emergency, contact the police (112) or relevant authorities directly.
WorkMart provides the Platform "as is". We do not guarantee the quality, safety or legality of any job or the conduct of any user, and we are not responsible for the acts or omissions of Providers or Workers. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorkMart's total liability arising from your use of the Platform is limited to the platform fees you paid to WorkMart for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify WorkMart against claims arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your conduct on or off the Platform in connection with a job.
We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, fraud, or legal/safety reasons. You may stop using and delete your account at any time, subject to completing any in-progress jobs and settlements.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, courts at our registered place of business shall have jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
